Q: How do you pronounce Jizai, and what does it mean?

Ji-zai, with a soft j as in the French jardin. Written 自在, it is Japanese for acting freely, at will, without constraint.

Q: What is the difference between Smartlet Jizai and Smartlet One?

The patented connection is identical; the band changes. One is the steel and titanium icon. Jizai is the hybrid line, worn in metal, leather, fabric or silicone on a refined multi-row link mesh.

Q: Which Smartlet Jizai finish should I choose?

Jizai is worn in metal, leather, fabric or silicone on the same multi-row link mesh. Metal reads as jewellery, leather is softer for long days, fabric is the light casual option, and silicone is made for training and water sports sessions. The patented connection is identical in all four.

Q: Can I wear Smartlet Jizai with a dress watch?

Yes. Jizai covers the same 18 to 24mm lug widths as Smartlet One, which includes most dress watches, and the smartwatch sits on the underside of the wrist, out of sight under a cuff until you need it.

Q: When does Smartlet Jizai launch?

Jizai is the second collection and follows Smartlet One. Models on this page open for pre-order as they are confirmed.

Q: Will my Smartlet One accessories work with Jizai?

Yes. Jizai uses the same patented connection, so connectors and adapters carry over between the two collections.
