Jaeger-LeCoultre has produced over 1,200 calibres and counts among the few manufactures that make every component in-house, including hairsprings. The Reverso was designed in 1931 for polo players who needed a protected dial - the case reversed into its sliding carriage. That sliding mechanism is still there. Smartlet One connects at the lug ends via spring bars, leaving the reversing mechanism and the engraved caseback entirely intact.

  • Does Smartlet work with Jaeger-LeCoultre watches?
    Yes. JLC references from 18mm to 22mm lug width are natively supported by Smartlet One.
  • Will Smartlet affect the JLC movement?
    No. Smartlet attaches via the spring-bar slots. The calibre and case seals are completely untouched.
  • Which JLC models have guides?
    The Reverso Classic has a dedicated guide covering key references with 18mm and 20mm lugs.
  • Which recent Jaeger-LeCoultre releases work with Smartlet?
    Jaeger-LeCoultre's 2026 releases include the Master Control Chronometre, a 39mm Master Control perpetual calendar powered by the new Calibre 868 with HPG certification, and four Reverso Hokusai Waterfalls references finished by the Metiers Rares atelier. As always, any reference with standard spring bars between 18mm and 24mm lug width works with Smartlet.
