UBH Magazine: Smartlet Wins the 2026 Special Jury Prize

UBH magazine, the trade publication of the Union de la Bijouterie-Horlogerie, France's professional body for jewelers and watch retailers, reports on the 2026 UBH Trophies held in Paris on 29 June, where Smartlet received the Special Jury Prize. The jury's reasoning is worth quoting in substance: as more people wear a connected or hybrid watch, the traditional watch ends up in a drawer and its owner gradually leaves the watch trade. By allowing a mechanical watch and a smartwatch to be worn together on a single strap, Smartlet keeps that customer on the wrist, and in the market.
The feature details the patented, tool-free insertion system designed in Paris, its fit across more than 100 watch brands from 18 to 24 mm, and the dedicated adapters for Apple Watch, Google Pixel Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Garmin, Fitbit and Whoop. It also notes the Bronze Medal at Concours Lépine 2025, the Eureka Park selection at CES 2026, and the invitation that followed the prize: Muriel Piaser, jury member, invited Smartlet to present the three Smartlet One editions (brushed steel, black PVD, Grade 2 titanium) at Precious Room by MP in July 2026.
