Wear a smartwatch with your Alpina

Alpina was founded in 1883 by Gottlieb Hauser as a union of independent Swiss watchmakers, the Alpina Union Horlogère, which set up its headquarters in Biel/Bienne in 1890. In 1938 the Alpina 4 defined four requirements for a sports watch: antimagnetic, antishock, water-resistant and stainless steel. Frederique Constant acquired Alpina in 2002 and Citizen in 2016, and Alpina still operates as a distinct brand. Most Startimer Pilot, Alpiner and Seastrong Diver references hold their strap on standard spring bars, which is all Smartlet One needs: the original strap comes off, the Smartlet strap goes on, and the watch itself is not modified.
