Questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Is the Garmin Fenix compatible with Smartlet?
No. The Fenix uses Garmin QuickFit bands on a thicker fixed pin, and the Smartlet strap cannot take it. The same applies to the Instinct, Epix Pro, Enduro 3, MARQ, Tactix, Quatix, D2 and Descent.
  • Which Garmin watches work with Smartlet?
66 Garmin models in our base: the Forerunner 55, 165, 255, 265 and 570, the Venu and Vivoactive lines, and a few others such as the Approach S12 and S42. The Forerunner 9xx series is not compatible.
  • I own a Fenix: what can I wear with my mechanical watch?
Keep the Fenix for long outdoor days, and pair your mechanical watch with a Forerunner 265 or a Venu for daily wear: both use standard lugs and fit Smartlet One with no adapter.
  • Does Smartlet damage or modify my mechanical watch?
No. Smartlet replaces your standard watch strap using the existing spring-bar system. It makes no permanent modification to the watch case, lugs, or dial. The process is fully reversible in seconds. Your mechanical watch is unaffected and can be worn independently at any time by reinstalling its original strap. Smartlet is engineered to watchmaker tolerances and tested with the same care that goes into the watches it pairs with.
